How to delete your account and data

We make it easy to delete your Lingavela account and the personal data associated with it.

Option 1 — Delete in the app

How do I delete my account from the app? 1. Open Lingavela and go to Settings. 2. Tap Account → Delete account. 3. Confirm. Your account and associated personal data will be permanently deleted.

Option 2 — Request by email

What if I can't access the app? Email support@lingavela.com from the address linked to your account with the subject "Delete my account." We'll verify your request and complete the deletion.

What gets deleted

What data is removed?

• Your account and email/authentication identifiers
• Your learning data (progress, settings, streaks, XP, submitted sentences)
• Associated diagnostic identifiers tied to your account

We delete or anonymize this data within 30 days of your request. Some records may be retained only where legally required (e.g., subscription and tax records for up to 7 years, in anonymized form where possible), and are deleted when no longer needed.

About your subscription

Does deleting my account cancel my subscription? Deleting your account does not automatically cancel billing. Cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings to stop future charges. See Pricing.
